Observation of a Non-Magnetic Impurity Effect in the Organic Superconductor (TMTSF)2ClO4

We report a non-magnetic impurity effect on the superconductivity observed in (TMTSF)2ClO4. By varying the sample cooling rate in the vicinity of an anion ordering transition at TAO = 24 K, we can systematically control the amount of disorder in the sample. We then use dc transport and microwave periodic orbit resonance measurements (closely related to cyclotron resonance) to determine the crit...

Superconducting properties and Fermi-surface topology of the quasi-two-dimensional organic superconductor λ-(BETS)2GaCl4

The Fermi surface topology of the organic superconductor λ(BETS)2GaCl4 has been determined using the Shubnikov-de Haas and magnetic breakdown effects and angle-dependent magnetoresistance oscillations. The former experiments were carried out in pulsed fields of up to 60 T, whereas the latter employed quasistatic fields of up to 30 T. All of these data show that the Fermi-surface topology of λ-(...

Superconducting properties of the Fe-based layered superconductor LaFeAsO0.9F0.1-delta.

We have employed a new route to synthesize single phase F-doped LaOFeAs compound and confirmed the superconductivity above 20 K in this Fe-based system. We show that the new superconductor has a rather high upper critical field of over 50 T. A clear signature of superconducting gap opening below T(c) was observed in the far-infrared reflectance spectra, with 2Delta/kT(c) approximately 3.5-4.2. ...
